The Noras Group, the Portuguese institution behind the U SAFE buoy, has announced that its innovative human rescue system has been recognised today in New York, among more than 2,100 applications from around the world.

Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, the CES Innovation Awards Program is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in 28 consumer technology product categories.

An elite panel of judges, industry experts including members of the media, designers, engineers and others, reviewed the submissions based on innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetics and design.
